Preparation of the development master plan for an integrated golf resort encompassing 750-acres of land near Hualien in eastern Taiwan. The water-oriented resort includes two international standard hotels; two 18-hole golf courses, one a private V.I.P. course and the other a public, resort course; tourist commercial and recreational facilities and medium density residential developments. Since the resort was not located on the ocean, large lagoons and canals were utilized as a thematic and aesthetic feature of the resort. The resort is located in a wide valley with tall, picturesque mountain ranges running along each side of the valley. Wimberly, Allison Tong and Goo Architects were the project architects and Tongg, Clarke and McCelvey were the project landscape architects. For: Promised Land Corporation
